Serving beachfront hospitality and family fun since 1957.
For over 6 decades and three generations the Gilmore Family has been welcoming everyone to experience their piece of Paradise.
The Driftwood Lodge and Osprey on the Gulf both sit on prime gulf front beach with amazing views. When you stay on the property, the courtyard is surrounded sea oats, powdery sand and a long boardwalk that connect Driftwood Lodge to The Osprey. Our heated pools sit beside the beautiful gulf, where you can lounge and watch the sun rise or set.
Wrapping around our pools are a mixture of activity areas: barbecue stations, beach front volleyball, a splash pad for the little ones, plenty of lounge chairs to get a tan, picnic areas, and of course the white sandy beaches. We never fail to deliver the panoramic views of the beaches and always have a planned event to keep the family vibe alive.
Having a family atmosphere, The Driftwood Lodge and The Osprey on the Gulf are your family’s next and lifetime place to vacation.

We spent Saturday night there and it was just a perfect weekend. The three pools, hot tub, the large sitting areas and location made it so enjoyable. Clean, safe and very family friendly. Our granddaughter made a bracelet and we had our night meal from the tike bar so we could be on the beach at dark to enjoy sunset and later look for sand crabs. Popcorn, great coffee and hot cocoa for kids! We certainly plan on returning. Going to make more memories.

A very relaxing, easy going, no pressure place to stay. Lodge is right on the beach and the grounds are kept very clean. They even cooked up some of their famous chowder for all to eat. Fresh coffee every morning starting at 6:00 am. I have stayed at Driftwood lodge several times before and this is always our go to place for family. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Can’t wait to go back next year. Fun, fun, fun.

This was our second time here with many more stays planned in our future. The stay was so relaxing and fun too. All the guest seem to be at ease and enjoying there surroundings, who couldn’t? We have shared the great times and photographs of our stay with many folks and suspect they will making the trip to the Driftwood soon. I could say a negative thing about our stay.

Motel is right on the beach, within walking distance of Pier Park, and close to Publix grocery store. Rooms are clean and cozy. Internet is spotty. Staff is really nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Excellent condition for a building built in 1957. Recently renovated. Motel and grounds were very clean, staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. We will stay again. I recommend the cabana rooms, they have a great view!

Love the Cabana rooms on the beach level.withyour own picnic table, lounge chairs , umbrella, charcoal grill. Near Gulf Pier Park.Staff is friendly and helpful. Off season prices are very reasonable. I like it because it is not like the big high-rise hotels.

Love our stay here!! We have brought our family since the 1970’s.. Of course they have remodeled many times over the years. Better then ever!! On the beach & very close to Pier Park. They now have two pools & a Fantastic Sun Deck.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the staff are all very nice, professional. My room was perfectly clean. The beach area, hot tub and pool areas neat and clean. There was repair work being done on one pool, but it didn’t begin too early to disturb sleep.

We stayed for a quick weekend getaway. The room was absolutely spotless and we had a great view of the ocean. The sunsets were magnificent from our balcony and the pool deck. The room was quaint and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but had a deep, full bathtub which was wonderful. We had a very nice balcony with comfortable seating. We really enjoyed our stay and loved staying in a place that did NOT have the impersonal high-rise feel to it.
